LED Stage Lighting System
Case Study: Triangle Players Group, Reading
“A great big thank you to you and your team for all you have done for us, our group was absolutely amazed by what the system does. Absolutely blown away.”
Graham Stacy, Triangle Players
Triangle Players amateur dramatics group have been in existence since the 1940s based at the local Methodist Church Hall. The group have the long-established use of a conventional raised stage and proscenium set-up within the hall.
The group felt that the tungsten stage lighting system they were employing required updating and contacted Stage Studio Projects to see how we could help find a solution that would fall within the timescale and budget requirements.
Following the comprehensive consultation we suggested a solution that would completely remove the existing lighting dimmers and fixtures which dated back at least 40 years and replace with an up to date LED stage lighting system fit for the group’s theatrical performances.
The new system comprises of:
- Internally wired lighting bars over the stage
- DMX distribution and infrastructure
- Theatrical LED lighting fixtures of Profiles, Par-wash, and Fresnel’s.
- A Zero 88 FLX S24 DMX control console
- Full design, supply, and installation of the system.
Following the completion of the works we carried out a thorough demonstration on use and maintenance of the system which due to Covid restrictions we had filmed by the group for sharing with colleagues.
The Triangle players now have a versatile LED stage lighting system that allows for quick colour changes, full programming of the system with submaster and GO button options for each performance coupled with overall much lower running costs.
